At Social Work Immigration Matters (SWIMMS), our mission is to deliver clear, evidence‑based and independent immigration social work assessments for separated children, families and vulnerable adults. We work with charities, legal firms, local authorities and individual clients, providing expert reports that support Article 8, best interests and family life decisions.
Our assessments are grounded in statutory guidance, permanence frameworks and the child’s best‑interests principles required under Section 55. Every report is completed using a trauma‑informed approach that prioritises safety, stability and the lived experience of the child.
All SWIMMS reports meet the evidential standards expected by the First‑tier Tribunal and comply fully with Practice Direction 35, ensuring clear, reliable and defensible expert evidence within the legal arena.
